Perimeter College has served as a gateway to higher education in the metro Atlanta region for more than sixty years. Standing on the legacy of six decades of excellence, today, Perimeter grants the associate degree from among 30-plus pathways on five campuses and online—equipping students to leave the college with the skills and confidence to transform their lives and pursue meaningful work.

Sixty years ago, our institution embarked on a journey driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation and the betterment of our students and community. The visionaries who laid our foundation could scarcely have imagined the remarkable achievements and enduring legacy that would follow. Today, Perimeter College stands as a testament to their foresight and dedication.
Perimeter certainly has witnessed tremendous growth and transformation over the last six decades. From our modest beginnings on the Clarkston campus to our position today as a leading college at GSU, our journey has been marked by countless achievements, both big and small. Our 60th anniversary is a celebration of our past and an affirmation of our ongoing commitment to access, academic excellence, innovation, quality teaching and student success.
