- Biography
I worked as an environmental consultant for seven years followed by employment as a professor. I began teaching at Dekalb College in 1989. I am at the same place, but the name has changed several times, presently at Georgia State University. Originally I am from South Carolina, lived in New Jersey, and for the last 30+ years in Atlanta. I have two children and three grandchildren. Interests include coastal biology and ecology, environmental science, as well as a wide range of biological topics. Hobbies are tennis, gardening, travel, hiking, and reading.
