David Girmay is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Georgia State University’s Perimeter College. He completed a B.S. in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Georgia. He attended Georgia State University and completed an M.Ed. in Secondary Mathematics Education. Mr. Girmay began his teaching career in 2005, teaching high school for 7 years in the Metro Atlanta area. He began teaching part-time at Georgia Perimeter College in 2011 and transitioned to full-time in 2012. Mr. Girmay has taught classes ranging from Learning Support to Calculus.
