- Biography
Dr. Paschal has an interesting mix of academia and federal service. He taught chemistry as an Assistant Professor at Illinois State University from 1974-1978. During 1978 he as recruited for a position at the national Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, GA, where he served as a Supervisory Research Chemist for 30 years- from 1978-2008. During this time he was author or coauthor of 76 peer reviewed research papers and book chapters. He taught part time at Perimeter College from 1999-present, and was offered a full time position as Assistant Professor in 2010. Since that time he has started the organic course offerings at Perimeter College, participated in the Garden Committee and Sustainability Committees, and has been promote to Associate Professor in 2015 and full professor in 2022.
