- Biography
Dr. Dennise M. Turner is an assistant professor at Georgia State University’s Perimeter College, Dunwoody Campus. She earned her Ph.D. at Georgia State University in History in 2016. Dr. Turner was an adjunct professor at Spelman College, Morehouse College, and Georgia Perimeter College from 2004-2014. She also was a graduate course assistant at the University of Chicago (1994-1995) and an Instructor at Richard J. Daley College in Chicago (1998-2000). Dr. Turner’s areas of research include immigration, race, ethnicity, and culture, 20th Century France, and Modern Europe.
