A Great Toolkit
Want to find out what to do before the first day of class? We have a pre-class checklist for you to follow. Need help with math? Worksheets and tutors await. Experiencing technical difficulties? There’s a help desk for that. Our Student Toolkit is packed with your needs in mind. So don’t fret. Open it up and find solutions.
Don’t be shy about raising your hand. If you have questions about your courses, reach out to your instructor and peers, and make sure to contact our Learning and Tutoring Center. The LTC offers free online tutoring sessions (as well as in-person appointments). Our tutors are well-versed in their specialties, and many are students themselves, who can relate to your situation and questions. They will help you understand your assignments, improve your academic skills and gain the confidence you need to succeed. To assist you in research, you can access the Georgia State University library and its extensive holdings online. And if you’re trying to decide or refine your career plans, contact Career Services to help you bridge your coursework with your real world plans.
Georgia State University strongly recommends the use of devices that include webcams and up‐to‐date Internet browsers, virus protection, and Microsoft Windows or Mac operating systems. The use of devices not meeting these criteria may result in the inability to access important resources or complete course requirements in iCollege. It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that all technology requirements are met prior to the beginning of the term. If you are unsure of your device’s compliance with these criteria, please consult the Georgia State University Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 404‐413‐HELP.
