
Students who study abroad consistently note that it is a life-changing experience. Beyond that, participating in a study abroad program at Perimeter College counts as one, 3-credit course towards honors recognitions and transfer hours. This is whether the study abroad course is an honors course or not.

Honors at The Hague: Global Politics and Writing
June 19-July 9, 2022

Amsterdam, The Hague, Brussels
This six-credit study abroad program is designed to expose undergraduate honors students to a wide variety of cultural, social, and political experiences and institutions. The Netherlands is home to the world-famous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, the International Criminal Court, Anne Frank House, among other captivating sites. Students on this trip will spend part of their time visiting cultural sites and museums, where they will complete coursework for Honors ENGL 1102: Writing About Art and Culture, and the other part of their time visiting international political sites, which as ICC and the European Union and NATO, where they will complete coursework for Honors POLS 2401: Global Politics: Genocide and Human Rights in the Hague. Students will spend 14 days in the Netherlands and 4 days in Belgium with a weekend of free travel for project work.
