One of the biggest benefits of the Honors College is one-on-one academic advising. The Honors College Campus Coordinators serve as academic advisors for students in the Honors College and give each student personalized advisement based on their areas of interest and course needs.
We meet with students on campus during office hours and registration events, as well as by phone or email to conduct academic evaluations and help put together the best semester schedule we can. We also work with the college’s academic advisors to ensure timely progress toward graduation and transition to the next step.
Registering for Honors courses requires students to be in the Honors College, so students must contact the Honors College to verify eligibility prior to registering for the first time. Honors students who remain in good standing (3.3 GPA or better) can register themselves for classes each subsequent semester.
