Perimeter College is part of Georgia State University, a diverse, multi-campus urban research university in metropolitan Atlanta. The college has more than 1,000 full-time and part-time faculty and offers onsite and online learning opportunities. Most employees are faculty members who help guide students through associate degree programs, building strong foundations for continued education or career pursuits across multiple areas of concentration. Employees working in the college also provide administrative and other support to create a welcoming and effective learning environment.

The college offers courses at five campuses and an extensive online program.
