Call for Presentations for the 2025 Mario A.J. Bennekin Black History Symposium
The Mario A.J. Bennekin Black History Symposium is now accepting faculty proposals for presentations during next year’s week of programming. The symposium will take place February 17–21, 2025 on all Perimeter College campuses. The 2025 theme is “Echoes of Resilience: Black Artistry, History & Identity.” Presenters are asked to keep presentations between 40-45 minutes and presentation abstracts to 200 words. The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, Nov. 15, 2024. For more information about the symposium, please visit https://perimeter.gsu.edu/bennekin-symposium/. - Name & professional title
- Title of presentation
- Presentation abstract (200 words or less)
- Preferred Perimeter College Campus to give presentation
- Preferred dates/times between Feb. 17–21, 2025
- Technology (hardware & software) needed for presentation
