The Mario A.J. Bennekin Black History Symposium is now accepting faculty proposals for presentations during next year’s week of programming.  The symposium will take place February 19–23, 2024 on all Perimeter College campuses.  The theme is “The Challenges and Triumphs of the Black Working Class in America.” Presenters are asked to keep presentations between 40-45 minutes and presentation abstracts to 200 words.  The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, Nov. 17, 2023.  For more information about the symposium, please visit https://perimeter.gsu.edu/bennekin-symposium/.  For questions and to submit your proposal, please email [email protected].  Your submission should include the following information:

• Title of presentation
