International Admissions Requirements

For admission to a degree program at Perimeter College, the following items are required (click on the item for more information):

  • Perimeter College Application for Admission
  • $20.00 Application Fee (non-refundable)
  • Official high school documents at a recognized level of completion and accreditation.
  • Official college or university transcript from each college or university attended
  • Proof of Immigrant or Non-Immigrant Status
  • Test Scores or Exemptions. Please send official SAT (school code 5711), ACT (school code 0806), TOEFL (5165) or IELTS scores to Perimeter College. Minimum test scores can be satisfied by meeting one of the following:
    • The Computer Adaptive Placement Assessment and Support System (COMPASS). Visit College Testing Services for the testing requirements for admissions.
    • APIBCLEPSAT and ACT scores submitted must be official scores. Information for requesting official scores or documentation may be found at the SATACTCLEPAP and IB websites.
  • Proof of Language Proficiency Requirements. One of the following conditions must be met:
    • Minimum TOEFL score of 480 (paper based) or 157 (computer based testing) or 55 (internet-based testing), or
    • Official IELTS score of 5.5, or
    • Minimum SAT critical reading score of 330, or minimum ACT English score of 12, or
    • Completion of English Composition I course (grade “C” or better) at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Proof of Immunizations

A note about test scores:

  • Official SAT and ACT test scores are required for admission for Dual Enrollment and homeschooled applicants.
  • Please send official SAT scores (school code 5711) or ACT (school code 0806) to Perimeter College.

Applicants to Georgia State University’s Perimeter College are classified “international” applicants if they meet any of the following criteria:

  • Students who are currently in the U.S. on a non-immigrant visa (B-1, H-1, J-1, etc.).
  • Students who are currently living outside the U.S. and who will require an F-1 visa to study in the United States.
  • Students who are in the process of applying for Permanent Residency status, but have not yet received the Permanent Residency card.
  • Students who have been educated outside of the U.S.
