Alpharetta Campus is a popular location for students interested in business as well as participants in Dual Enrollment, a program allowing high school students to enroll and earn college and high school credits simultaneously.
Science-minded students also find a welcome home on the campus, where Perimeter College offers physics, astronomy, chemistry, biology, upper-level math and computer science classes and labs. A new science building, now under construction, soon will add lab capabilities to the campus offerings.
Alpharetta Campus enjoys active student organizations, including Student Government Association, Panther Activities Council, STEM Career Club, Community Service Scholars, Alpha Beta Gamma honor society for business students and ECO, an environmentally focused club. This thriving and diverse campus initially opened in 2000 as a center in partnership with Georgia State University. In 2010, Perimeter College course offerings at Alpharetta expanded to include all academic areas, including 2000-level classes and additional day and evening courses. DAt the Alpharetta Campus, Georgia State University’s Perimeter College offers more than 20 pathways to earn an associate of arts degree or an associate of science degree.
The campus, located in the heart of a strong corporate business community, gives students access to potential internships and opportunities to explore career options.
High school students can begin working toward a college degree through the Dual Enrollment program at Alpharetta, which allows simultaneous earning of high school and college credits. Some Dual Enrollment students earn an associate degree in college by the time they graduate from high school.
A new science facility, featuring wet labs, is expected to open in the spring.
Each campus contains free designated parking areas for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Permits are required and regulations apply. Visit our Parking Portal to pay or appeal citations. University police enforce parking regulations. Parking for visitors to the campus may be reserved by filling out a visitor request form at least 24 hours prior to the visitors’ arrival. Visitors who have not reserved spaces in advance should report to the university police office on the campus they are visiting to obtain a visitor parking permit.
The Alpharetta Campus is located approximately 26 miles north of Atlanta on GA-400.
- Take GA-400 to Exit 10 (GA-120/Old Milton Parkway).
- Turn onto GA-120/Old Milton Parkway and travel east toward Alpharetta.
- Proceed on GA-120/Old Milton Parkway for approximately 1.1 miles.
- Turn right onto Brookside Parkway.
- Continue approximately 0.2 miles.
- Alpharetta Campus, at 3705 Brookside Parkway, Alpharetta, Ga. 30022 (678-240-6000), is on your right.
