I attained my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Tennessee State University in 2003. I then moved to Atlanta and began working at Emory Healthcare where I moved between the Medical Surgical Unit and the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. In 2014, I decided to further my education and pursue my Iifetime dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Walden University in 2015 with my Masters of Science in Nursing / Family Nurse Practitioner degree. I began working at the Minute Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner in 2015. In January of 2017 I began teaching nursing. I discovered a new passion in helping to train the next generation of nurses.
